Demonstration of Aluminum Sublimation

In late 2015 I bought myself a heat press and all the necessary equipment to start experimenting with sublimation printing. I have since been printing mostly night and city photographs on aluminum panels. It makes the whole image pop and radiate with amazing vibrancy. The panels are like a mirror that catches the light and makes it a much more dynamic than a standard paper based print.

I find people who see my sublimation work are immediately engaged in the pieces; moving back and forth as different aspects of the image becomes illuminated drawing your eye to them. This is a simple demonstration video but I would implore you to seek out a gallery that is currently showing this technique to see the full effects sublimation have to offer.
